DOPPELGANGERS for U2
in the Park S.U. Bar

A week after seeing The Backbeat Beatles (Friday November 21st 1997) there was yet another free concert at the Park Student Union Bar. This time it was a tribute band for U2 called Doppelgangers.

This band performed tracks that were not only performed by U2 but also written by them for other people. Tracks included "WITH OR WITHOUT YOU", "I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR", "ANGEL OF HARLEM", "PRIDE (IN THE NAME OF LOVE", "MYSTERIOUS WAYS", "HOLD ME THRILL ME KISS ME KILL ME", and "SHE'S A MYSTERY TO ME" which is a song written by BONO for ROY ORBISON.

This was the best of the free concerts at the Park that I had been to upto that time, so much so that when my taxi came I did not want to leave.
